November Update- Hang on Sloopy, 4th Grade Recorder Quizzes, Winter Concert Preparation

I am so excited about the work Mrs. Taylor's Class did in music today that I have to share it right away! Today we worked on "Hang On Sloopy" (and we're hoping to add in some strings and band instruments to our arrangement soon)! Way to go, 6th graders!

We made a practice recording today and I can't wait to post our final recordings just in time for the OSU vs. Michigan game (the Saturday after Thanksgiving).

Special thanks to Mrs. Jarzecki at Evening Street Elementary for sharing her arrangement of the song!

The 4th grade students who completed their BAG quizzes this week did a great job! We will continue working on keeping those holes completed covered, managing our air and reading Treble Clef notes more easily!

Third and fourth grade students are also working on the music for our winter concert which will be titled "Making Spirits Bright." This concert will feature students from 3rd grade, 4th grade and our Worthington Park Choir.

Come to the Park Gymnasium on Wednesday December 16th at 7:00 pm to brighten your spirits with some wonderful music!
